Here's a nifty concept: charging your cellphone or device as you pedal your bike. Of course, this wouldn't be huge in America, since most, if not all of us, rely on our motor-vehicles. Although, there are still many of us, such as myself, that still enjoy man-powered motorcycles.
Of course, me being the Apple Fanboy that I am, I'm going to throw the iPhone 3G into this.
Bike riding experience would go up, at least, 75%. Here's the scenario:
You leave your house on your bike, "F*ck, I forgot to charge the phone!"
you phone's saying "ahh, must...have...DC...powerrrrrrrr"
you hook your iPhone into your bike, and off you go, you're happy because you've got your latest Bike Riding mix playing, and your iPhone is happy because it's getting all that DC goodness being supplied by the movement in your bike.
-later-
You've been riding for a good 5 hours, you're completely lost, and you need somewhere to rest. You pull out your now fully charged iPhone (the 3G of course) and look up the closest Starbucks...hmm...not one for another 10 miles...so, then you just look up restaurants, go to the closest one, and rest up for the long ride home.
