BlackBerry and the iPhone

Today I was minding my own business, as I do from time to time, reading my blog roll, cause I'm a wee bit behind in all of that (as you might be able to tell). During my peaceful time of reading I came across this article on Gizmodo. This kind of thing made me angry just a bit, as you can imagine. And no, Microsoft/RIM Fanboys, not because they're telling people to not buy the holiest of holies, the iPhone 3G. In business, there's a little saying that you may have heard of: "The customer is always right."

The customer can be a babbling moron and still is right. [like if they thought the Moto Razr is the best phone ever invented...they're correct in their own right] You're not supposed to hand out pages saying how bad your product is. Yeah, I know that to work in suctomer service you don't need a degree in business...or in anything for that matter, but you know, it's a little bit of common sense to not hand things out to customers without them specifically asking for it, especially if it's something stating how poor one of the products are. Also, it's pretty f*cking rude to just laugh in the customer's face, unless they said something obviously funny.

The article also linked to CrackBerry.com. Obviously a Canadian blog about RIM. [I figured, because of the constant reference to Rogers] I wasn't too happy since it didn't do much of explaining to me why the iPhone is a bad phone and why the BlackBerry is far superior. Of course, I didn't read EVERY post [I probably should have, but I would be more angry right now] but from what I gathered, they really hate the iPhone, despite the fact that the BlackBerry Thunder is obviously an iPhone clone [see: the fail of the Samsung Instinct]. Now, reviewing TUAW.com, I was unable to find the hatred towards RIM so upfront as it was on CrackBerry.

So here I go on a conquest: I doubt there are many BB readers out there, but hey, in the event of such fandom reaching here... BlackBerry fanatics, to truely prove the superiority of RIM's creation, give me one of these phones. E-mail me at toney [dot] colin [at] gmail [dot] com for info on sending me one of these. After using it for some time, I will produce a full review of the BlackBerry.

That is all...
